Hello!

So, yesterday was my school Christmas concert,  How the Grinch Stole Christmas.  And, if you have been reading my blog, you know that I got a part as a narrator.  We got to wear these awesome dresses and the two cast dances were SO much fun.  The Grinch costume looked a lot like a big dark green Teletubbie  and by the end,  he was so hot they had to reapply his face paint because it was running so much.  We performed once in the afternoon and once in the evening and I was so tired, my mom let me stay home from school today.  I am so sad it's over! 

      So,  we had snow.  Lots of it.  Or so people said.  I personaly didn't get to excited about it, but yes, there was some snow.  People were tobaganing and building snowmen and having snowball fights.  But then it rained. Now there is no more.  Boo hoo (not really).   

   

      We also went up to Grouse  Mountain yesterday to rent our skis, boots, and poles for the season.  That was fun, but man those boots are hard to get on and off!  We didn't do any skiing after, but we will be going back TOMORROW to go skiing.  I can't wait!

I got a part!

I got a part in the Christmas Concert at school.  It is How the Grinch Stole Christmas.  I am a narrator.  I didn't want to try for any thing to big.  I was going to try for a who but I didn't.  My first rehersal is on thursday.  I can't wait!

Guess What? What? Oh, I don't know.  CHRISTMAS IS COMING!(and the goose is getting fat!)

YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY!    I can't wait but I don't really have anything in mind that I want.  I really am excited!

So You THINK You Can Dance?

You've probably heard of the "So You Think You Can Dance"  TV show, but if you haven't, it is a dance competition where you can vote for your favourite dancer.  Well, at my school, a dance instructor came two years ago for a dance workshop, and on sunday she called and asked if they would like one of her students to come and see us.  Her name is Nathalie(h is silent) Heath and she was on So You Think You Can Dance.  She made it to the top 8  and was going to come to talk to us about her experience there.  I have seen it and she is a really good dancer.  When she was here she taught us a hip hop dance which was really fun.  That is definitely a pro of being in a performing arts school!

Yoo hoo! Anybody still reading my blog?  Well, maybe this will get you interested.  

I SAW A PINK ELEPHANT YESTERDAY!  No, not really.  But, I am loving school and I will tell you you about that.  First of all at this school I can join a sports team starting in grade 5.  But in Winnipeg you could only join in grade 7.  I am going to join the basketball team.  I am also joining choir, jump rope club, and dance club. It will be so fun!  Also, I love hanging out with Wesley, Miranda, Holly, Emma, and Emilia at recess.  Today we told ghost stories.  My teacher is really great too. Oh yeah!  We have a student teacher named Miss Lewandowska.  The W is pronounced as a V.  She is from Poland and is really friendly and nice!  She speaks with a teeny bit of an accent.  So, I will be posting more regularly now.

HI!  I  started school and love my teacher!  Her name is Miss Parmar.  She is awesome!  I have a friend named Wesley.  She is really nice.  I will post more later
